Privacy policy
What Ant0 collects, why, where it is stored, for how long, and the switches that turn it off.
Draft. This document has not yet been reviewed by counsel and the legal entity is still to be named. It shows the rules Ant0 intends to apply; the binding version will be announced before paid plans open.
The short version
- Your browser profiles, cookies, identities and proxy credentials live on your computer. We never receive them.
- The browser engine makes no connection to us at all.
- The app talks to us for four things: downloading and updating software, checking proxies, crash reports (optional), and your account and licence (from version 0.2.0).
- This website has no analytics and sets no cookies.
Who is responsible
[Company name, jurisdiction, postal address] is the data controller. Contact: support@ant0.link; security matters: security@ant0.link.
What the software sends and why
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis | Switch |
|---|---|---|---|
Downloading and updating the browser engine and the app (releases.ant0.link) | The request itself: your IP address and the file name, in transient server logs. Nothing about you or your profiles. | Performance of the contract | The engine download is needed to run the app; the update check is in Settings → Network. |
Proxy checks (ip.ant0.link) | The check travels through the proxy being tested and returns the exit address. The service keeps no request logs. | Performance of the contract | Runs only when you add or check a proxy. |
Crash reports (errors.ant0.link) | Stack trace, app version, operating system and version, a random installation id. File paths and tokens are removed before sending; profile data, proxies and cookies are never included. | Legitimate interest in fixing defects | Settings → Network, on by default and disclosed at first run. |
Account and licence (api.ant0.link, from 0.2.0) | Email address, password (stored hashed), an identifier of your computer (a hash of hardware characteristics), operating system and app version, the number of profiles in use, sign-in times and IP addresses, plan and payment records. | Performance of the contract | Required to use the app from 0.2.0. |
We do not use the data for advertising, do not build profiles of you, and do not sell or share personal data with third parties for their own purposes.
Where data is stored
Our servers are operated by us on infrastructure in [hosting country]; Cloudflare provides DNS, TLS and a bot check (Turnstile) on the sign-up form under its own privacy policy. Transactional email (verification codes, receipts, warnings before deletion) is sent through [email provider]. Payments are processed by the crypto payment services shown at checkout; we receive the payment confirmation and amount, not your wallet’s history.
How long we keep it
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Server request logs | 30 days |
| Crash reports | 90 days |
| Account data while the account is active | For the life of the account |
| Account and workspace data after a paid plan lapses | 6 months, with warnings by email at 30, 7 and 1 days, then deleted |
| Account data after you delete the account | 30 days, then deleted (payment records as long as tax law requires) |
| Sign-in and abuse records | 12 months |
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Settings → Account lets you see your devices and delete the account; for anything else write to support@ant0.link. We answer within 30 days.
Children
The Service is not for anyone under 18.
Changes
We announce material changes to this policy by email and on this page at least 30 days before they apply. The “Updated” date at the top tells you when it last changed.
