When these terms apply

These terms apply when you, as a workspace owner, invite other people into your workspace. For their personal data (emails, roles, folder access, the computers they sign in on and their sign-in records), you are the controller and we, BLACKBIRD SECURE BROWSING LTD · Company number 13404707 · Registered address: 41 Devonshire Street, Ground Floor, London, United Kingdom, W1G 7AJ, are your processor. They form part of the Terms of service.

For your own account data, we are the controller, as described in the Privacy policy.

What we process

  • Whose data: people you invite to your workspace and its members.
  • What data: email addresses, roles and folder access, workspace invitations, computer and browser IDs, sign-in records (IP address, platform, time), and the encrypted profile data they sync. We can’t read synced profile contents.
  • Why: only to provide the Service to you: team access, sync and security.
  • How long: for as long as your workspace uses the Service, then as set out in the Privacy policy’s retention table.

What we promise

We will:

  1. process the data only on your instructions, which are these terms and how you use the Service, unless the law requires otherwise (we’ll tell you if it does, where we’re allowed to);
  2. make sure everyone who handles it is bound by confidentiality;
  3. keep it secure, including encryption in transit, encrypted sync, access control and backups;
  4. use only the sub-processors listed below, tell you about changes at least 30 days before they take effect by email and on this page, and let you object; if we can’t resolve your objection, you can stop using the Service;
  5. help you answer requests from your members to access, correct or delete their data;
  6. tell you without undue delay after we become aware of a personal-data breach affecting your workspace, and help you meet your own reporting duties;
  7. help with data protection impact assessments where reasonably needed;
  8. delete or return the data when the Service ends, except what the law requires us to keep;
  9. give you the information you reasonably need to check we meet these terms.
