What leaves your computer
Every network connection Ant0 makes, what it carries, and where to switch it off. The browser engine itself makes none.

The rule
The browser engine never contacts Ant0. Only the app and its background service do, for the purposes below, each disclosed where it happens. Profile data, cookies, proxies and identities stay on your computer.
Connections
| Purpose | Where | What is sent | Switch |
|---|---|---|---|
| Engine download | releases.ant0.link | Nothing about you; the release file is fetched and verified. | Needed to run anything. |
| App update check | releases.ant0.link | Fetches the update list for your operating system once at start. Nothing about you. | Settings → Network, on by default. |
| Proxy checks | ip.ant0.link (through the proxy being checked) | The request travels through the proxy so its exit address can be measured. The service keeps no request logs. | Run only when you check a proxy or add one. |
| Crash reports | errors.ant0.link | Stack trace, app version and operating system when the app or the background service crashes. Paths and tokens are removed first; profile data, proxies and cookies are never included. | Settings → Network, on by default. |
| Account and licence (from 0.2.0) | api.ant0.link | Email and password at sign-in; an identifier of this computer; the hourly licence request with the number of profiles in use. | Required from 0.2.0; see Account. |
Nothing else. There are no analytics, no usage statistics and no third-party services in the app. This website uses no analytics either.
Inside a profile
When a profile is running, its browser connects to the websites you visit through the proxy you assigned, exactly as any browser would. Ant0 is not in that path and does not see the traffic. A profile without a proxy uses your computer’s connection directly.
Where your data is
Everything is in the data folder (Settings → Data): profiles, cookies, identities, proxies (credentials encrypted at rest), installed engines and logs. Back it up like any other folder; moving it to another drive is a setting.
The privacy policy says the same in legal terms and covers the account data held on Ant0’s servers.
